Livelihood Package
A large number of people in Waziristan depend on livestock rearing as one of the subsistence sources. With displacement of local populace to other parts of the province/ country, a large number of cattle were left stranded during their evacuation to safer places which eventually deprived them from their primary source of livelihood. To rehabilitate their sources of subsistence we should provide cattle including buffalos, cows and goats on no cost sharing basis. Moreover, the live stock is being provided free of cost to the widows and vulnerable segments of the society as first phase of this Livelihood Project.

Sararogha Area
• Sararogha Poultry Farm No 1 started, since Nov 2011 • Sararogha Poultry Farm No 2 started , since Mid Dec 2011 • 2 x Goat Farms completed • A person (Haji Muzammil) was given financial assistance to purchase transport to commute local population. Kotkai Area • Poultry Farm 2 started, 7 days back (550 / 610 chicks) • Racks and allied stuff given to Kotkai market No 2 • Cow given to Shoe Shop owner as ordered • Cattle farm construction started • Construction of poultry farm at Gharlama near completion Jandola/ Chagmalai Area • Nazar Khel Feed Agency under progress • 1 Goat farm completed in Spinkai (Khalid Jan) • 1 Goat Farm under process (Murghaband) • New flock in Poultry Farm Chagmalai , Mid Dec 2011 • New flock in Siplatoi poultry Farm, Mid Dec 2011 • Two 3 HP motor, wire & pipes handed over for cultivation of Ghana land Misc • Hens / goats package to 94 widows • Non food items kits issued to 214 widows • Total Non food items kits issued to 804 families |
